MINTY 2012 Schecter Hellcat VI Bass!

Very nice and unique model from Schecter. These black Hellcat's with black block inlays don't come up for sale very often. This is sort of a Fender Bass VI type with many capabilities. The guitar plays great and sounds awesome! The guitar is in beautiful condition overall. Other than a couple very small marks, it's easily in near mint condition. Comes with an upgraded hardshell case.

The Schecter Hellcat IV bass boasts a double-cutaway alder body, a 30" scale bolt-on maple neck, and a 22-fret rosewood or maple fingerboard. Tuned E to E, one octave below a guitar and lower than a baritone (B to B), the Schecter Hellcat IV is loaded with three Seymour Duncan SJAG-1 single-coil pickups with on/off switches for an incredible range of tones. Appointments include mother-of-pearl block fingerboard inlays, Grover tuners and chrome hardware.

Maple neck
Maple has a uniform grain, it's strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warmer tones of a alder body.

Rosewood or maple fretboard
Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is fundamentally richer than maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores. Maple is very bright, dense and highly reflective. When used on a fretboard, maple encourages tremendous amounts of higher overtones and its tight, almost filtered away bass favors harmonics and variations in pick attack.

Seymour Duncan SJAG-1 pickups
Every detail in sound, construction and appearance is faithfully duplicated in this vintage pickup. Even the original hand grinding process is used on the magnetic pole pieces and the result is that classic '60s single-coil sound. Middle pickup is reverse wound, reverse polarity (RW/RP) to create a hum canceling effect when used together with the bridge or neck pickup.

Grover tuning machines
The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.
