SPECIFICATION
The Schecter Japan series was created based on the concept of "a single guitar that can be used in a variety of genres," and is very popular for its high quality made in Japan.

The model in stock here is the pinnacle of the Schecter Japan series, made from carefully selected woods and produced by skilled craftsmen. This RX model features completely different specs from the EX series of strat-type guitars with bolt-on joints.

The original double cutaway shaped body is very well balanced and easy to play. The body with beautifully arched top finish is made of superbly grained 4A grade maple top with mahogany back specification. (The top maple is a luxurious 14mm thick wood at the center!)

The combination of mahogany wood with good mid-low range and hard maple produces a well-balanced sound.

The neck is made of 3-piece Honduran mahogany. The neck joint is a modified version of the Ultra Access 4-Bolt joint for set necks. The 24 frets are fully utilized to support technical phrasing.

Two SCHECTER SUPER ROCK III pickups are mounted. Wide range and sharp edge. The pickups are sensitive to even the smallest picking nuance, and they maximize the pronunciation of the player's nuance. The magnet does not directly touch the pole piece, but is sandwiched between the coils. Therefore, magnetic force is induced from the side to reduce the magnetic field, making it easier to respond to string vibrations and create a fast-rising sound.

A coil tap switch is also included, so you can instantly switch to a single coil sound. (Pulling up the tone knob will make it a single coil sound.)

The bridge is a tune-o-matic type and the strings are back-threaded. The pegs are Goto locking type, so tuning stability is excellent.

The unique sound is characterized by a tight sound with a great mid-range feel. The high mids are peaked, so even in a band ensemble, the sound has the potential to come forward without being muffled. This is a good choice for those who want to use it for backing and lead playing.
