Summary: This Tele is a “parts-caster” with a real vintage 1970s’ Schecter neck made entirely of koa. It has a bound 2 piece koa/mahogany body with Rio Grande Charlie Christian pickups and brass hardware. It is in excellent condition, sounds great and ships in a Fender hard-shell case.
Body: 2 piece Koa/mahogany body with black binding on the front and back with a brass pickguard.
Neck: The neck is a ‘70s Schecter neck, made of koa with gorgeous grain, lighter skunk stripe, wooden dots and Strat headstock. The neck profile is a chunky soft V and very comfortable. 25 ½”scale length 1 5/8” nut width.
Pickups/Hardware: Brass pickguard, Rio Grande Charlie Christian style blade single coil pickups, brass bridge with 6 individual saddles, brass tone block on the back for the string through ferrules, nickel staggered tuners, 3 way toggle, volume and tone.
Cosmetics: This Tele is in great shape with barely any wear to mention but a few light scratches on the body and pickguard, some small dings and a bit of fret-wear.
Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in pretty good shape with some minor wear.
