Overview
Silky B♭Trumpet Custom Series B5LGP. 460' (11.68mm) ML bore with ML throat shape (#2 taper), unsoldered bead 5" copper bell. Gold plated finish. Bell tuning specs. No case. Body only. Manufactured in 1976. List price: 1,001,000 yen

Condition
There are solder repair marks on each finger hook and bell tuning base. Repair marks (minor rippling and unevenness) on the back curve of the bell and on the bell flare from the bell body. Pinholes and small areas of peeling of plating on valve casings, hooks, and mouthpipe. Scratches from use throughout. The inside of the bell has minor scratches that are slightly noticeable. The piston button had a cracked shell and rough plating, so it was replaced with all new parts. The inside of the tube has been cleaned, soft mono, all piston springs have been replaced, and various parts have been serviced and adjusted. Clearance of piston and each tube is in good condition.

Features and Attractiveness
Bell tuning version of the standard model B5 of the Silky Custom series. Copper bells tend to be a little difficult to capture their own sound, but the bell tuning specification adds a moderate buckwheat sound, improving monitorability. The dense and sharp sound unique to copper bells is best suited not only for use in big bands and horn sections, but also for music that requires a gorgeous sound. Although it has a dense sense of use, it is still a usable unit.
