I bought this amplifier from the estate of the late Andrew Gold. I brought it to Rob Dickson from Amp Hole Vintage Amplifier Repair.
It has a mercury magnetic power transformer, and it has been converted to be used with US power (110 Volts). It’s in good, original condition.
These Selmers are sought after and collectable amplifiers, known for their warm tone. Most common models are Zodiac Twin 50s and Twin 20s; this rare Twin 30 I believe is the most desirable for its sound. They are similar in sound to a Marshall Bluesbreaker. The recent service on this amplifier has maintained its sound and reliability.
