B made by Selmer Paris♭Trumpet, Chorus 80J, silver plated finish. 124mm yellowbrass bell. 11.75mm (462") bore. Instrument weight 1121 grams. Includes: genuine single semi-hard case, made in 2001.
[Condition.]
Only scattered light scuff marks, polish marks, and small athetic scratches. No noticeable scratches, damage to the plating, or repairs. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, soft parts have been replaced, and all parts have been serviced.

The Chorus 80J series was first produced by Selmer in 1995 under the concept of jazz. It was highly acclaimed by many top players, including jazz trumpet virtuoso Eddie Henderson and Terrell Stafford. The satin lacquer finish was the signature model of the 80J, and the players mentioned above also loved the satin lacquer finish, but this new arrival has a different general silver-plated finish. Unlike the dry airy and compact feel of the satin lacquer finish, the new arrival has the voluminous sound that only silver plating can provide,The silver-plated finish also has a warm and calm tone. The silver-plated finish also has its own charm that is hard to discard. This is a unit that can be used for a wide range of applications outside of the jazz format.
