Selmer USA trumpet, Cloud Gordon model C. 123mm single-piece yellow brass bell. Nickel silver mouthpipe with 11.93mm (470') bore. Reverse tuning tube. Original gold plated piston stem. Body lacquered finish. Instrument weight 933 grams. Serial number 0010xx. 1980's manufacture. No case. Body only.

[Condition.]
Receiver, valve casing, extractor tube, piston button, and part of the curve at the rear of the bell have lost lacquer. The remaining lacquer is discolored to a dark color. There is a trace of re-soldering of the mouth pipe finger rest. There are no dents or functional defects as of now. Piston tightness and action are good. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned and the felt and cork have been replaced. All parts have been serviced.

Selmer USA's CG model C trumpet, supervised by historical brass educator Claud Gordon. The actual weight of the instrument is a lightweight 933 grams, and the valve bore is 470" large bore with reverse tuning. Looking at the specs alone, one might imagine it to be too lightweight and "harsh," as if the breath is taken away by the instrument, but it has a moderate cohesiveness in both feel and tone.
