From his shop in Chelsea, Quebec, Sergei de Jonge comes up with some innovative designs, and excecutes them flawlessly.
This 2010 Sergei de Jonge Classical Guitar features a lattice braced, combination spruce and cedar top with Indian Rosewood for the back, sides and headplate, mahogany for the neck, and ebony for the fingerboard and bridge.
The guitar sports a French Polish finish to allow maximum responsiveness, and is fitted with Rubner tuners, and bone nut and saddle. The scale length is 650mm with a nut width of 52mm.
This guitar has been played, and there are a few small dings on the top but otherwise is in quite good shape, and it plays very well. The tone is clear, rich and nicely developing.
This is a consignment piece.
