Description

If you were looking for a vintage guitar and amp combo, look no further than this 1962 Silvertone 1448 with Amp in Case! You may recognize some of the styling and materials, like the lipstick pickup or masonite body, and that is because Danelectro manufactured the model, yet it was sold through Sears, Roebuck and Co. under their brand, “Silvertone”. This Model 1448 in Black with silver sparkle comes with its original, built in amplifier that is fully functional! These amps were not built with transformers; because of this there is a potential shock risk if touching the amplifier components, and we would suggest using an isolation transformer for increased safety!

Overall Condition: 7.5, Good Condition, general playwear, some sparkle worn off, patina to the pickguard. Mark on treble side of the fretboard where it must have rubbed against the speaker in the case
