Description

Exceptionally fine and one of the absolute cleanest Silvertone pieces to cross our path. 1966 Silvertone 1452 Hornet in its original and incredibly well preserved red-burst finish. The 1452 made its Silvertone catalog debut in 1966 and was the top end of the Silvertone guitars at the time. This model was offered as the guitar alone or as a set with a cool amp in case. This guitar we traced back to the original owner who purchased it new with an original black and beige soft case. Overall this one is exceptionally clean and entirely original. The original owner decided to varnish the fingerboard, but no other modifications whatsoever. The guitar is in excellent plus to near mint condition less some very light signs of handling. Don’t miss out on this clean and stunning 1452!
