Description

Exceptionally fine and one of the absolute cleanest Silvertone pieces to cross our path. 1966 Silvertone 1452 Hornet w/ amp in case. The 1452 made its Silvertone catalog debut in 1966 and this example has to be one of the first produced with the speaker dating to 1965. The 1452 was the top end of the Silvertone amp in case instruments having the full scale dual pickup Hornet guitar with bulky hardshell case complete with Jensen speaker and amplifier with tremolo. Overall this set is exceptionally clean and entirely original including Silvertone branded tubes. The tremolo arm on the guitar has its chrome wearing off on the face due to sitting in the case both its life as well as a few minor body dings and the case exterior has some minor scuffs and one area of tolex tear, otherwise this set would be considered NOS. Don’t miss out on this clean and stunning 1452!
