1965 Silvertone 1457 Amp in Case Red Metallic Sunburst

This 1965 Silvertone 1457 is in overall excellent vintage cosmetic condition showing some small dings and scratches, some light staining of the vinyl sides and a small split in the bridge pickup cover (see photos). This guitar is all original and has been cleaned, restrung and inspected. The frets show minimal signs of play wear and this guitar plays well up and down the fingerboard with good action. The original pickups both function as intended as do both concentric potentiometers. The wiring harness is nestled in its original brass shielding compartment. The original tuners work well and the original compensated rosewood bridge is intact. The case is in clean condition and the amplifier works great and has a cool sounding tremolo! The tubes are original as well as the Jensen Special Design speaker that has a date code of 2206540 indicating that this component was manufactured on the 40th week of 1965. This is one of the nicer Silvertone sets that we have come across in some time!
