The theme of this piece might be about relationships - the center part with the vintage clothes pins and the buttons signifies the classic domestic situation, orderly and harmonious with nice colors, while the bottom part with the old metal strip and the skulls signifies what happens when the relationship is on the rocks.... rust, sharp edges and dead angry feelings. The bridge sits right between them, with all the tension focused on this fulcrum point - which way will it go?? Sweet and soft, or loud and raucous - this guitar gives you all...
Then again, it all might mean something else....
