2004 Spector Euro5 XL Natural
Summary: The Euro5LX offers all of the features that have made the Spector name famous around the globe. The extremely comfortable, fully carved body is crafted from carved European alder body* and is topped off with beautiful flamed maple! This bass features a 3-piece maple neck that runs through the entire length of the instrument with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard & Spector’s signature Crown inlays. Outfitted with a lightweight, zinc brass alloy bridge and nut, premium pickups from EMG and Spector’s coveted Tone Pump active tone circuit, Euro5LX basses are equipped to hold down the low-end on the world’s biggest stages. This particular bass has a wonderful natural flame maple top with a satin finish & lots of tone!
Body: Solid body, carved European alder topped with a flame maple cap.
Neck: A 3 piece maple neck runs through the entire length of the instrument and features a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with Spector’s signature Crown inlays. This instrument has a 34.75” scale length, 1.75” nut width and gold Schaller tuning keys.
Pickups/Hardware: Gold hardware, pearloid fret inlays, Schaller tuning keys, 2 EMG pickups, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, individual fully adjustable saddles, Spector truss rod cover
Cosmetics: This 5-string bass is in great shape – there are some normal signs of wear like some fading of the finish near the pickups & light scratches on the body with a few dings here and there but the finish is so beautiful that most of the imperfections are hard to find unless you start looking hard. The frets are in great shape & have a ton of life left in them. There is one small additional hole on the bottom of the bass where someone had moved the strap pin to get it to balance differently.
Playability: This bass neck plays great – the action is comfortable but it is also fully adjustable – you could make the action lower or higher with the adjustable bridge & the fully adjustable truss rod.
