Established in 2006 as a custom-made brand. STR basses are produced by Satoru Yatsuka, the representative of Asuka Guitar Factory. He is a builder with high technical skills and a wide range of vision, and handles a wide range of products from professional musicians to custom models. This 6-string model is a beautiful looking model with a spotted maple body top. Ash is used for the body back, and the overall sound has a clear line. The bridge is also a particular bridge, with a brass plate and a saddle made of a special material called Nac 55, which gives the bass strings a solid sound and stable pitch. The preamplifier is a Bartolini MTMB, and a 3-band equalizer allows for a wide range of sound creation. This 6-string model can be used in the field with confidence, thanks to its careful craftsmanship and easy-to-handle sound that can only be achieved with a Japanese-made product.
