2019 Suhr Classic S Surf Green
We are big fans of work of John Suhr. From his years working with Rudy Pensa to his years as a Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, John has built a long legacy of high end guitar and amp design and construction. Offered here is a Suhr Classic, his take on the iconic Fender Stratocaster.
The specs for this beautiful S include: a two piece Alder body with a Surf Green finish and a total weight of 8 pounds; a gorgeous, smooth satin-finished Maple neck with a "60's C Vintage Standard" shape with depth measurements of .810" at the first fret and .930" at the twelfth fret and a marvelous satin finish; a gorgeous, Rosewood fretboard with a 9 - 12" compound radius, vintage style clay dot inlays, a 1.650" Tusq nut and medium stainless steel frets; a Gotoh 510 two post bridge with bent saddles, steel block and chrome finish; Suhr locking tuners; and for electronics, three Suhr V60LP single coils, Suhr's Silent Single Coil II (SSCII) system and traditional Strat-style controls and wiring. It comes in a premium Suhr/G&G tolex case.
This guitar offers an terrific combination of modern technology and vintage features. It plays with the precision that you expect from an instrument built by John Suhr and it sounds like a vintage Strat should with lots of quack and clarity. This 2019 instrument remains in virtually flawless condition and could easily pass for new. The stainless steel frets are flawless as well. While originally shipped in a gig bag, it comes to the next owner in an upgraded G&G case along with the trem arm, tools and spec sheet.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
