John Suhr's reputation for building exquisite electric guitars is legendary and for good reason - this 2015 Suhr Classic T Custom's fit, finish, playability, and tone is simply off the charts great! Simply put, this is a powerhouse of a Telecaster on every level. The neck invites hours of play with its "barely there" finish and comfortably fat '59 LP-ish carve. Though a fatter carve, it plays fast. You could easily cop EVH licks or Clapton licks with ease. Tonally, there are lots of modern and vintage sounds on tap including some Strat-like cluck in addition to classic humbucker tones via the 5-way pickup switch (via pickup splitting), Black Limba body / neck, and Suhr pickups. The body is routed to allow the bridge to float though the previous owner installed a Tremol-No which is currently in use (this mimics a blocked bridge a la a Stratocaster and is easily reversible / not permanent). Tons of pros rely on John's guitars in both the studio and on stage and it's easy to see why. This Classic T Custom is the complete package - perfect for the player who appreciates vintage body shapes but needs modern playability and tone(s). A fantastic guitar! Priced with original hardshell case.
