DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 1950s Supro El Capitan with a Translucent White finish. Supro was a brand name for Nationals entry level guitars, eventaully Valco would take over the brand. We just got this guitar back from our good friend Nate Wood at Stahman Guitars! Nate is a fantastic luthier and just performed a neck reset as well as a refret! He also added a new bone nut and fret markers!

Specs! This guitar is in very good condition. It has had a neck reset (there is a wooden shim that correlates). It has a been refretted with 19 Jumbo frets. It has a new bone nut with a 1-11/16″ width. The knobs have been replaced. Binding was reglued where needed. Nickel 3 plate tuners. Brass Logo plate on headstock. Maple neck with a depth of 1″ at the first fret and 1.45″ at the twelfth fret. It has a 25-7/8″ scale length. Laminate maple body with a translucent white finish and painted “flame Maple” grain. Supro single coil pick up. Adjustable rosewood bridge. Comes with a non-original hard shell case. Weighs 4 pounds and 8 ounces.

Awesome guitar! Plays better then it has in a long time! Ready for another couple decades of playing! The pick up has a very rugged and tough sound, great for cranking an amp and rocking out! Nice light weight. Love the Supro badge on the headstock. Super fun 70 year old guitar!
