An original example of a 1960 Supro Ozark in rare "Fire Bronze" finish! The aging clearcoat has given this guitar a red appearance but the original metallic Bronze color is vibrant under the pickguard. The single coil pickup features a wiring set up a lot like a Fender Esquire, with the forward position on the three way switch bypassing the tone circuit allowing for one seriously raunchy tone! The distinct body shape is made of solid basswood unlike later versions which used Supro's Res-o-glass construction. The neck is comfortable and playable all the way up with plenty of fret life left. The ultimate Chicago Blues guitar, this is a great vintage piece for a price comparable to a new reissue! This instrument includes the original chipboard case.
