1998 Tacoma Papoose Natural

Summary: This is a really wonderful little mini-acoustic guitar! This little Pampoose low string is tuned to “A” so its high pitched with a rich & full tone. This guitar was built in 1998 on the 362nd day of the year. The Pampoose was designed by George Gruhn & Terry Atkins and it was Tacoma’s first guitar model.

Body: Small bodied acoustic with the unique sound hole & awesome woods. This guitar has a thick cedar top with mahogany back and sides.

Neck: This Tacoma features a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 1.875” nut width, 19.1” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: No electronics, Tacoma chrome tuning keys, rosewood bridge, dot inlays

Cosmetics: This instrument is in great shape. This guitar does have some dirty looking spots on the top that is hard to get out of a satin finished guitar, but otherwise its pretty clean. The frets are in great shape! The bridge looks solid with no lifting. There are signs of pick scratches on the top & a few small dings but overall it is awesome!

Playability: This Pampoose is so much fun to play! The action is low & we set it up with a new set of strings – it plays great up & down the fingerboard. Even though it’s a short scale instrument the fingerboard feels pretty wide for its size and that makes it very comfortable to play.
