Summary: This rare & beautiful Takamine EF-406 features wonderful Koa woods and a comfortable parlor sized body that looks stunning & sounds incredible. This guitar also has a slotted headstock, snowflake style fingerboard inlays and a built-in pickup. This guitar was a limited edition guitar from 1998 or 1999.

Body: Parlor sized acoustic guitar with Koa top, back & sides. The top & back are fully bound with a brown binding that blends in well with the woods.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 1 5/8” nut width, 24.5” scale length, 20 frets, snowflake pearloid inlays, rosewood bridge, gold hardware, slotted headstock.

Pickups/Hardware: Graph-Ex pre-amp by Takamine, gold hardware.

Cosmetics: This guitar is nearly 20 years old so it does have some normal wear such as pick scratching, small scratches on the back, some wear around the edges of the headstock and various nicks & dings on the body, but overall this guitar is in great shape & it is completely structurally sound.

Playability: This little Takamine plays great – the action is low and the guitar plays with no buzzing or dead spots – we set this guitar up with 11’s and it is ready to be played and loved.
