Summary: This is a beautiful 2017 “Fall Limited” Taylor 514ce with a Torrified Sitka Spruce Top & Walnut back & sides. This instrument ships with the original hardshell case & we recently set this guitar up with a new set of 12’s.
Body: This Taylor has a Grand Auditorium body with a Torrified Sitka Spruce top & really beautiful walnut back & sides. The top & the back of this guitar are fully bound.
Neck: Tropical mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, 1.75” nut width, 25.5” scale length, 20 frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Expression System 2 electronics, Chrome Taylor tuning machines, Mother of Pearl Century Fretboard Inlays, Single-Ring Ivoroid/Faux Tortoise Rosette, Ebony Peghead Overlay,
Cosmetics: This guitar has been well-loved and it is in very good shape. I did see some pick scratches on the pickguard but otherwise this beauty looks wonderful.
Playability: We all know that Taylor guitars play like butter –
the action is low & the guitar plays great up & down the fingerboard. We recently set this 514ce up with a new set of 12’s and it is ready to be played and loved for years to come.
