16972...The 615 boasts a jumbo body with highly figured maple back and sides that make this guitar particularly handsome. The top is sitka spruce, the neck mahogany and the fretboard/bridge ebony. This one has just had the frets dressed, which was all that it needed to be ready to go. Structurally good inside and out. Cosmetically the guitar shows signs of use in the form of some dings and scrapes to the finish but overall cosmetics are good. The top, back and sides are crack free. The neck angle is perfect and the neck straight under tension. The guitar has excellent volume and projection and great tone. Though the guitar has a great bottom end the midrange and trebles are strong as well. The action is set at 6/64" at the low E 12th fret and 5/64" at the high E under tension of light gauge strings with plenty of saddle showing. The neck is straight under tension and the guitar has a great feel for finger style. That said, the guitar has been used for years by the owner for pick style lead play and it works well for that also. Intonation is good all over the neck. There is a K & K pickup installed with sound hole volume control, so it is stage ready. Comes with the original hard case. $1950

If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
