This Taylor Guitars - 712ce 12 Fret Western Sunburst is a newly retooled model and is part of the Andy Powers redesigns at Taylor. Featuring a natural hybrid of Sitka and White spruce, the Lutz Spruce top shares much of the power and richness of Adirondack. Paired with an Indian Rosewood back and sides, all condensed into a Grand Concert body, this 12-Fret makes for a dynamic, focused guitar with sustain for days. This newly redesigned 712ce is a true celebration of wood, with Hawaiian Koa binding, a herringbone-style rosette with Douglas fir and Maple/Black accents, all rounded out with a bias-cut Douglas fir top trim. Further accented by an Ebony Fingerboard, Bridge, Bridge Pins, Heel cap and Headstock overlay, this 712ce is a unique instrument in the Taylor lineup. With it's physically compact shape and Venetian Cutaway this guitar is a fingerstyle dream, but with the addition of Lutz Spruce it also has plenty of headroom for flat pickers. Equipped with the Expression System 2 electronics, this Taylor 712ce 12-Fret Western Sunburst comes with a hardshell case and a free setup from our luthiers.
