The magnificent American-made Taylor American Dream AD17e acoustic/electric guitar was forged from Taylor creativity while maintaining all of the appointments that make Taylor such a respected and revered guitar company. This Grand Pacific dreadnought features a solid spruce top that produces warm, seasoned acoustic tones reminiscent of vintage acoustic recordings. The solid ovangkol back and sides bring much of the sparkle and low-end presence, plus a leveled-up midrange for a truly balanced sound up and down the tropical mahogany neck.
The V-Class bracing adds its tone-enhancing magic to the mix, producing louder notes and chords that sustain and bloom with impeccable intonation. Together, the tonewood pairing, body shape, and interior bracing add up to a versatile workhorse, capable of filling a room with rich cowboy chords or soft fingerpicked melodies. Aesthetically, the AD17e is detailed with appointments to preserve it's character — chamfered edges, stained spruce edge trim, a three-ring rosette in Hawaiian koa, and a ES-2 electronics system bring this masterpiece of an instrument together for the player who demands more from their guitar than any other acoustic they can get.
