Founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listag, Taylor Guitars is made in California and Mexico.
Known for their low-profile necks, stylish design sense, and unique pickup systems, they are highly regarded by musicians of various musical genres and a wide range of generations.

The model introduced here is the GS-8, made in 2006.
The GS series, a Taylor original design, is a slightly larger shape than the standard size GA (Grand Orchestra).
This model may seem simple at first with its non-cutaway and non-pickguard, but the rosette decoration and the fine grain of the spruce give the impression of a classy, high-end product.

In terms of sound, this model is not very Taylor-like in a good sense.
Speaking of Taylor guitars, they are characterized by the fact that there is little fluctuation in sound when chords are played, and all strings sound very even, but this guitar feels a little loose.
The looseness is not unpleasant, but it leaves room for the player to control it. It also means that the player has a lot of control.
Even if you don't like Taylor's sound, I think you will like this one.
