The glory of the TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper Pedal lies in its simplicity and improved design for live use. Unlike other looper pedals, it's been stripped down to a single knob, two toggle switches, and two foot switches, all of which combine for an unobtrusively intuitive experience. The knob controls the Loop Level - cleverly enough, the level or degree of your loops. The toggle switch to its immediate left lets you store, delete, and set the level of the backing track. To the right is the FX selector switch, allowing you to reverse the loop, slow it to half-speed, or use it as a dedicated stop switch. The Loop foot switch is used to control all loop-related functions (record, playback, undo/redo, clear), and the FX foot switch controls the pedal's built-in effects or to stop the effect, depending on the setting of the FX selector switch. The increase in size from the original Ditto pedal is a blessing for live players who need the ease of control while onstage - the bigger knob makes it easier to control with your foot - and the added toggle switches are significantly more handy. It has a USB jack so you can import loops to and from your box, and can be powered either by DC power source or 9V battery. An incredibly useful and versatile arrangement tool, the TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper Pedal is a totally legitimate looper that eliminates the excessive, superfluous controls of your standard looper.
