Description

Presenting the Tech 21 Acoustic Fly Rig, the simple, all-in-one solution for the acoustic player in need of an expanded preamp/di for situations where you need to go direct or plug straight into a bacline amplifier.

Springing to life as the acoustic version of the popular guitar Fly Rig series, the Bass Fly Rig packs a ton of features into a compact platform, easy to fit into your cable bag, or the front pouch of a gig bag.

There are lots of options for getting an acceptable acoustic guitar sound. But why settle for acceptable when you can be inspired? Specifically tailored to complement the particular nuances and traits of acoustic instruments, the Tech 21 Acoustic Fly Rig is jammed packed with useful features and intuitive controls. You can easily dial up tones and effects that will make you not want to stop playing.

The all-analog SansAmp preamp is, of course, its center point. Sweepable, semi-parametric, active EQ controls provide professional grade tweakability for any situation. There’s a Notch Filter, sweepable from 70Hz to 350Hz, designed to diminish the sensitivity for feedback caused by the resonating, low frequencies of acoustic guitars. A Low Pass Filter, sweepable from 16kHz to 1.5kHz, rolls off undesirable frequencies and artifacts.

The Independent Boost function allows for up to approx 12dB, for solos. Includes a wide mid-range boost for improved clarity.

The COMP feature, for compression, utilizes old school, all-analog, FET-based technology, which is inherently warmer, more transparent and musical.

The Dedicated Reverb function emulates the rich ambiance of open spaces, ranging from room to hall.

The DLA features emulates a warm sounding analog delay. It features Time and Repeats controls and dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch. CHR is a preset chorus based on pitch-shifting technology for a more natural, 12-string-style sound.

A built-in Chromatic Tuner is located within the EFX section. You simply hold down the TAP/TUNER footswitch to engage the Tuner, which simultaneously mutes the signal path.

Phase Flip switch flips the signal 180 degrees in phase to help combat feedback
