Offered is this fabulous Thorn Deluxe 90 built in 2013. The Thorn Deluxe 90 is Ron Thorn's interpretation of an LP-style set neck guitar with a Telecaster-like body shape. It is a chameleon-like instrument that is amazingly versatile.
This incredible instrument has: a solid and strikingly beautiful Black Limba body, a highly figured Curly Maple top, a caramel burst nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a total weight of 8.6 pounds; a Medium '59-shaped Mahogany neck with depth measurements of .860" at the first fret, increasing to .960" at the twelfth fret; a gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with a 25" string scale, 12" radius, .047" x .095" fret wire and a 1.70" nut; locking tuners; and a Thorn tremolo bridge. The electronics include two Thorn GT-90 staple tops, with volume and tone controls and a three way switch.
In terms of playability and tone, this Thorn kills most any LP you are going to find in this price range. Listen to the provided Soundcloud sample and I think you will agree, the tone of this instrument is awesome! Ron Thorn sweats the little things when it comes to building his guitars. For example, check out the threaded brass inserts he installs and the flat end screws he uses for the plastic rear control compartment covers. Most builders just drill a raw hole in the body combined with wood screws. Ron's design prevents the holes from becoming enlarged and help you avoid cracking the plastic cover should you inadvertently over tighten the screws. Every detail of Ron's guitars is superbly engineered and crafted with similar care. This instrument is a superb playing and sounding piece of sonic artwork.
This guitar has been treated like gold and only under high magnification does it show any sign of prior use. It has no imperfections of any significance and the frets are spotless. It comes in it's original premium G&G case, along with the trem arm, truss rod tool and spec sheet.
Compared with most any other similar instrument in the same price range and this guitar cannot be beat. I've sold several of these over the years and their owners still rave about their guitars. Make this beautiful Thorn yours. You will be very happy you did!

Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery.
