Description

This is one heck of a special instrument! Not only is it a one-of-one, custom from the ground up piece of guitar artistry... it is also the finest playing Strat we've had in our hands! From the moment you pick it up, every bit of this brilliant axe commands you to play. It feels like a true, vintage instrument that you've had on the road with you for years. The sound is rich and chimey, but without being shrill or thin. Played unplugged, the sustain is in a league of its own. Strum a chord and you can feel the resonance in your chest cavity. In addition, we've plugged it into a few of our favorite overdrives and were blown away by how good these pickups sound even at lower volumes, with a compressed signal. It's the Strat to end all Strats.

From TMG:
"This guitar is a piece of TMG history. It is the first guitar ever made in the U.S.A. It is a special edition commemorative color and look with gold and blue.
The Dover is our personal tribute to the iconic solid body guitar that changed rock-n-roll history back in 1954. Made famous by Buddy Holly in the mid 1950’s and revived to popularity by Jimi Hendrix in the late 1960’s, the tone produced by this guitar can be heard on literally thousands of hit records."
