Tobias Model T 5 String Bass Trans Red 1980's

Here's an original 1980's era Tobias Model T String Bass in Trans Red finish. There were only 110 of these built by Michael Pedulla for Tobias. No breaks, cracks, repairs. Serial number is TB074. The exceptional playability & tonal range the bass delivers is truly incredible! 34" scale, Neck-thru construction, maple body, with Bartolini pickups & preamp for active/passive operation. This one actually has an upgraded preamp. The action is low from top to bottom, and plays with ease. Frets have plenty of life. Truss rod functions properly as well for full adjustability. You can seriously dial in every tone imaginable! Smooth, fat, thin, clean, gritty, high output, low output, you name it! Brilliantly constructed instrument. The only thing to note is the previous owner extended the white dot markers on the volume/tone controls to make it easier to see where you're at. HSC!
