The concept of this model was to "perfectly copy the old" Gibson Les Paul by utilizing the excellent woodworking techniques, the "boring process", and the beautiful curved shape of the body and head. The model also reproduces the pegs, bridge, fret edges, and even a single screw. DiMarzio "PAF" pickups are installed. Tokai has completed the ultimate old copy that is not only a replica but also a highly finished product that surpasses the original. Tokai guitars are still attracting many fans and are truly "Japan Vintage."
