1994 Tom Anderson Cobra T Purple Quilt

Summary: The Tom Anderson Cobra T was introduced in 1992 & continues to be one of the most popular Anderson guitars you can find. Tom Anderson’s website says “Cobra T is one of the only guitars on Earth (maybe the only one) that is a perfect blend between the formidable sonic muscle of a short scale guitar and the musicality of a long scale guitar”. This particular instrument has a wonderful purple finish & it has recently been set up with a new set of 10’s – the neck feels great up & down the fingerboard.

Body: This Cobra T body is attentively hand-selected, pure mahogany, crowned by an exotic figured maple. The top is fully bound.

Neck: Cobra T's neck is a sleek and fast mahogany back, embraced by a premiere rosewood fingerboard, 1 11/16” nut width, 24.75” scale length, dot inlays, Grover tuning keys.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome hardware, 2 humbucker pickups, master volume, master tone, 5-way switch, Grover tuning keys, white dot inlays.

Cosmetics: This instrument was built in 1994 but it doesn’t look like it has been played a ton. There are a few small dings on the back & some pick scratching on the top but the finish is so beautiful that it hides any imperfections with ease. The frets are in great shape & have most of their life left in them.

Playability: This instrument has recently been set up with a new set of 10’s and it plays great up & down the fingerboard.
