Back in the late 60's and early 70's these built like a tank Canadian tube amps were the choice of thousands of players who couldn't quite afford a Fender amp. Now, 40 odd years later, these have been rediscovered as the great amps they've always been. Hand wired using tried and true circuits, these amps are still affordable and offer a great alternative to that $3000 Deluxe Reverb you have your eye on. This model is powered by 2 EL-84's but it doesn't sound like a Vox. It sounds like a BF Fender with a top boost circuit. It's loud and it's got some serious highs. They say they wring 25 honest watts out of this circuit and I believe it. Volume pot was shot so I put in a new one.
