Drawing inspiration from space and similarly named effect boxes from the 70s, the Universal Audio Galaxy 74 Tape Echo & Reverb is an authentic algorithmic reproduction of classic tape echo and reverb machines' beautiful imperfections and unmatched sound. Roland's Space Echo took the world by storm and continues to dominate recordings because of its fluttery echoes, luscious dub spring, and warm saturated sounds. Galaxy has been formulated by the Universal Audio team to be as close to the original as possible while eschewing all of the cumbersome tape head cleaning and carrying in favor of a compact pedal that keeps the beautiful imperfections.

Dial in all of the best spacey and dreamy sounds with two layers of controls and switchable tape heads. Dwell gives you a wider, more cavernous sound for the spring reverb and with the option to up the feedback to self-oscillation, you can get as wild as you want. Controls aren't limited to the knobs you see thanks to the UAFX Control app that lets you create custom self-oscillation effects, tweak real-time effects, and adjust the footswitch function. Universal Audio models vintage hardware like no other and with the Galaxy, the only thing that comes close is a mint-condition original model.
