Varita USA SOLTAR is handmade in California, USA under the supervision of Kunio Sugai.
Kunio Sugai started making guitars at the age of 15, and after working for a guitar manufacturing company, he moved to the U.S. and established his own brand in January 1979.He established his own brand "Performance Guitar" in January 1979. He is a legendary builder who has created setups and custom guitars for legendary musicians such as Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, and Michael Schenker. Varita Custom Guitar is also famous for being the favorite guitar maker of Japanese hotshot guitarist Tsuyoshi Kon. ThisSOLTAR SSH has a beautiful quilted maple top that changes its grain depending on the angle of view, and an alder wood body back. VooDoo pickups were chosen for the vintage-like sound. The playability of this guitar is unmistakable, and musicians can be assured that they can use this guitar at any site with ease.
