1976 VINTAGE MARSHALL JMP50 MKII 1986 BASS AMP Very Good

This 50w is a great example of a mid-70's MKII Marshall but has the added bonus of being converted to bass spec! With the overwhelming majority of this era's JMP50 amps being lead (1987) spec, this very early January '76 amp is more of a 60's plexi in character... sweeter, smoother distortion/gain with the 1986 bass circuit undoubtedly which was thoroughly (meaning, to full Marshall specs) and very cleanly done using vintage mustard caps, and other parts (where possible). Maybe a little rough around the edges but no extra holes, original transformers, filter caps... it's all there circuit-wise... no back cover however with this one, but who cares when you have such a great player! Will come tubed...
