Rare Find. 1962 VOX AC-10 Twin Smooth Black in Player grade condition.

Great medium size amplifier made by JMI era Vox in England. 1962 is the first year issue of Smooth Black covering for AC-10 Twin and it is much rarer than later product.

This amp has been restored and serviced well. Very professionally done. Output transformer has been changed to very correct AC-10 output transformer reissue made by DANBURY ELECTRONICS UK, reissue brass vents and back serial plate from north coast music, a pair of 10" speaker replaced to Weber UK Blue AlNiCo 10" 8Ω speakers. The back panel is also changed to older one originally finished in fawn, now it's painted in black. Voltage selector fixed it to 240V use. Newer control knobs. ECC83, ECF82, EF86 pretubes and EL84 x2 power tubes and EZ81 rectifier tube are all new. Non original foot switch for vibrato.

Original parts is in good shape includes vox logo, black handle, brown diamond grill net, main transformer, choke transformer, and almost of Mullard Mustard yellow capcapacitors in chassis. Electrolytic capacitors are original too.

In nice players condition. Sounds very warm and smooth, very best british tone. real player. Great gear for players.
