1963 AC-30 Combo X Model Expanded Frequency Twin 15" Copper Panel with Rare Charcoal Levant
Super rare 2x15 1963 AC-30X Copper Panel 2x15. With original charcoal levant... The were 5 different models of the AC-30X made in '63 and '64. So here's what I've got and you be the judge... T.900 15" speakers which were in the amp as well as the the complete chassis. I went through the whole assembly myself. I added the Vox handles, brass vents, corners as the actual corners were pretty beat up, easily removable. The back panel screws I had in stock, so I used them as well. The upper back panel was pretty cheesy so I recovered it with smooth original Vox levant I had stashed as well. The egg shell tremolo pedal was with the amp as well. As far as the tone. It's second to none. The 15" T.900's are to die for. The bass response will drive you bat crap crazy..! We've run a Strat, Tele, L/P, ES-335 and a Ricky through this amp and you will never hear anything like it as there is not another one available out there that I know of...Feel free to contact us for any further info and the rare AC-30.
