Short of an original JMI-era Top Boost, this is among the very best Vox-branded AC30 money can buy. Actually, a lot less money. Vox, owned by Marshall/Korg at the time, brought the legendary Dick Denney, the original designer, out of retirement to oversee the reissue. Built at the Marshall factory in England for about ten years in the '90s and early 2000s, these were eventually discontinued for being overly expensive to produce. 33 watts of class A power from 4 EL84s, classic zero negative feedback circuit with miles of headroom and amazing sparkle and bark, six-input Top Boost preamp, vibrato/tremolo channel, and British-made Vox-labeled Celestion Greenback 25-watt loudspeakers. This one has a little honest wear but is in excellent cosmetic and electronic shape overall, all-original, sounds fantastic, and looks great as well.
