Part of the genius of Leo Fender's Telecaster design is that it's easy to adapt to almost any player's needs. The Warren Arlen Roth Signature shows how well this can work out.

Warren guitars are made in Saratoga Springs, New York and are well known for their high quality. Arlen Roth is a prolific musician who's played with a lot of artists, on a lot of sessions, stages and recordings, and has many instructional books and videos.

The Warren Arlen Roth Signature builds on the Warren Classic T with specific reference to the tone and feel of Roth's original 1953 Telecaster. It uses an ash body, one piece maple neck, brass compensated saddles, custom wound Lindy Fralin pickups, Kluson style tuners and a Tusq nut.

Don Warren explains the wiring layout:

1 bridge
2 bridge / middle
3 bridge / neck
4 Neck / middle
5 Neck

The tone control at 5 is standard Tele. Increasing the tone control boosts the mids, decreasing gets darker.

The volume control is a Push/Pull, so when you pull the volume knob out, it puts neck pickup on so you have all three pickups in circuit in position 2.

The tone control is a Push/Pull and when you pull the tone knob out, you get positions 2 and 4 in series.

This guitar was built in 2007 and is in overall good condition, but it has been played and has minor wear - a few light scratches here and there. Fretwear is light. The original case is included.
