Summary: The Warwick Thumb bass is one of the most Iconic Warwick instruments of all time and it has gained loyal fans from all around the globe. The German-made, super high-quality instrument features unique tone-woods, great electronics, heavy duty frets & a hardshell case. This baby is from 2005 and it is in pretty good condition.

Body: Solid body double cutaway electric bass made of ovangkol with a natural oil finish.

Neck: Ovangkol neck with a wenge fingerboard, 24 jumbo silver-nickel brass frets, 34” scale length, 1.5” nut width, original black tuning keys.

Pickups/Hardware: Black hardware, MEC pickups, one volume knob (push-pull), one balance knob to blend between the pickups, stacked bass/treble knob.

Cosmetics: This bass is over 10 years old but it is still in pretty good shape – the wood looks beautiful & it has aged nicely. There are a few dings & scratches in the finish, consistent with a well-played but loved bass guitar that is nearly 15 years old.

Playability: This bass guitar plays great – the action is comfortable but you could adjust it to make the action higher or lower with the adjustable bridge. This baby plays true all the way up & down the neck. The frets are heavy duty & don’t show much wear – these frets have a ton of life left in them. This neck is straight & the 2-way truss rod is fully functional.
