2016 Waterloo WL-14XTR Black

We owe Collings Guitars a big thank you for creating this wonderful line of vintage-styled small bodied guitars under their Waterloo name. Made in Texas just like the Collings flagship guitars, this Waterloo WL-14XTR has great build quality and awesome sound.

Waterloo guitars come in X-braced and ladder-braced models with or without a truss rod. This one is X-braced and has a truss rod which is our favorite setup. We like the openness and clarity of X-bracing and of course having a truss rod makes the neck adjustable over time if and when it ever needs tweaking.

So there you have it. A wonderful modern recreation of a 30’s Gibson style acoustic from an iconic guitar maker at a very affordable price. Comes with its original hardshell case, as well.
