1960 Waverly Strip Set Nickel Plated

This set may be from as early as the 1950s, as so many of the Waverly tuners from the 1960s with metallic-looking buttons turn out to have metallized-plastic ones. Not here; this is a top-flight set from Waverly, with solid brass nickel-plated buttons and posts and brass gears with blued center screws. Unusually tight, and complete with all six original hex-head bushings and all eight mounting screws. $149
