1920's Weissenborn Koa Roundneck Parlor Guitar. This is a very rare piece. Famous for their legendary Koa lap steel guitars, Weissenborn only made a few of these small bodied round neck parlor guitars in the 20's. Good condition with a fair amount of wear. Various dings and heavy scratching, but an overall solid instrument. The all Koa construction is beautiful and along with its x-braced top, gives this guitar a clear and punchy sound much bigger than you would expect from an instrument of this size. Plays well with a chunky deep-V neck profile. The wide fretboard it amazing for fingerstyle playing and the guitar strung with Silk and Steel strings for an old-timey sound. Includes hardshell case.
