This is a one of a kind early 1960's Welson Professional with a "Spaghetti" finish.
This is a great solid body guitar, Res'O'Glass based, so very light with a chunky neck but easy to play, two Italian pickup and the very peculiar buttons to switch the position as well as a couple of "to be turned" knobs for volume and tone controls.
Welson was given the nickname of the "Italian Gibson", mainly for its latter ES-335 copies that were very good, but also because Welson was considered at the time as one of the best European Guitar builder.
This Welson was perfectly set up by our luthier and produces very special tones (Watch Video).
...and looks... well, we do specialize as a Vintage Shop in European as well as american instruments and we know Welson quite well, but we've never seen this finish before, and that is saying something when it comes to its rarity.
