Summary: Xotic guitars are handmade in California and feature a long lasting bone nut, an oil neck finish to give the guitar that broken-in feel, Sperzel locking tuners, and a comfortable C-shaped .850” neck grip.

Body: This guitar is a solid-body electric guitar with a strat-style body made of Ash.

Neck: The neck on this instrument is maple with a maple fretboard, 22 frets & black dot inlays. The frets on this guitar show very little wear & have tons of life left in them. The nut width on this guitar is 1 9/16” and the scale length is 25.75”. The fingerboard radius is 10R. The frets are Jescar #6105.

Pickups/Hardware: This instrument features a Humbucker – Single coil – Humbucker setup with a 5-way selector switch. The pickups are: Pickup: Xotic 50MB (Neck), Xotic ST (Middle), Xotic 53 MB (Bridge). This guitar has chrome hardware, Sperzel locking tuners and a killer strat-like tremolo system with “Raw Vintage” saddles. This instrument has 5 springs in the back and the tremolo system feels great and stays in tune.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in really great shape and shows very little wear. The 3 tone sunburst finish looks awesome on this nice piece of Ash. This guitar has a 3 ply white pickguard with black knobs & black pickups. I did find one small ding on the top of the guitar directly below the neck humbucker and a small mark on the white pickguard – I also found one tiny ding on the back of the guitar on the bottom bout of the instrument but I had to look really hard to find any imperfections.

Playability: This Xotic guitar plays awesome! The instrument plays with no dead spots & no buzzing – the action is low & the instrument is very easy to play.
