The BB series has been a long seller among the many models in the YAMAHA Bass lineup, and has been loved for a long time since its release in 1978.
This BBX is a bolt-on model released in 1983.
It features the royal wood materials of alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with PJ pickups.
The knobs have been replaced, but the gold parts give it a unified look.
This is one of the tight, clear and fat sounding instruments typical of YAMAHA!
The nut width is just between Jazz Bass and Precision Bass, and the neck has a good grip, recommended for those looking for a PJ type that is not too rugged!
