Yamaha oboe. Semi-automatic model. With third octave key. Silver plated keys. With hard case and case cover (scuffed and scratched). 2010. List price 475,200 yen.

Condition
Used for 5 years. Rough silver plating on the key is scattered. Two tampos and all joint corks have been replaced. Lubricated, sound hole cleaned, and overall balance adjusted.

Features
The Yamaha Duet Plus oboe uses ABS resin for the inside of the windpipe and the tone hole of the upper windpipe. There is less distortion and cracking due to differences in temperature and humidity between the inside and outside surfaces of the windpipe. Perhaps due to the effect of the material used for the inner surface of the tube, the YOB-431 is lighter to play than the standard YOB-431 Granadilla oboe. Recommended for those who are just starting to play the oboe or for your first personal instrument.
