Introducing the "FSX5" model, a reconstruction of the FG series started in 1966, based on modern technology and data.
Slightly smaller than YAMAHA's original fork-size shape.
The all veneer body is made of ARE-treated Sitka spruce and mahogany side backs.
The body is handmade in Japan by skilled craftsmen, and the excellent design is evident without any roughness.

In terms of sound, the character of this guitar is different from the bombastic sound of the FGs of the 60s, but it has a rich bass sound that makes it a very good guitar.
Produced using the full range of technology and data that YAMAHA has accumulated over nearly 60 years, we believe this will be a new standard model that will be loved for a long time to come.

[Condition/Modifications]
- The neck and wood have been thoroughly inspected by a craftsman specializing in acoustic guitars and no repairs are needed.
- The neck is straight and free of any chattering or sound clogging issues.
- String height on the 12th fret: 2.3mm on the 6th string side, 1.8mm on the 1st string side.
- Saddle protrusion: approx. 2mm-1.5mm
- The guitar is in beautiful condition with almost no signs of use.

[5-year premium adjustment warranty]
- Includes a warranty of adjustment support by a craftsman specializing in acoustic guitars, who repairs/adjusts approximately 2,000 guitars per year.

- Repairs for peeling of adhesive parts such as bracing and bridge due to aging are also available on a priority basis.
